Ila grew up in Medan, North Sumatra. Graduated as Graphic Designer from Limkokwing University, Malaysia, Ila is currently shooting and resides in Jakarta.
Picked up her very first camera during her early years in university, Ila began to captured and documented life in pictures ever since. Her passion for photography quickly grew into an obsession. She scouted people from her campus, friends, classmates, and mutual friends so that she could take their portraits.
Graduated from university, Ila kept that passion with her. In 2010 she found Nicoline Patricia Malina and worked under her wings for two years. She decided to try an advertising job afterward, working two jobs as a Graphic Designer in an advertising agency on weekdays and as a photographer on the weekend. In 2014, Ila decided to leave the advertising agency and switched her focus on building her photo studio and expanding her photography business.
In the years since Ila's skill in photography has been developed, focus her expertise as a fashion photographer, Ila also does a portrait, lifestyle, and advertising photography. Ila loves to involved emotions, vibrant colors, and dramatic feel in her pictures.
Ila regularly travels for assignments, working between Jakarta and overseas, continue to honing her skills, expanding her business, at the same time pushing her boundaries as a photographer.
